I seem to keep forgetting to post on livejournal whenever I update the comic lately. I am the worst internet comic person ever.

Also, if this malware that seems to keep leaking onto the site doesn't stop soon, I might have to kill someone. Possibly the entire internet.

I actually posted the new comic on Saturday night, but forgot to actually tell everyone 'cause I am silly.

In other news, still struggling with all this recent website hacking nonsense. Hopefully that'll be dealt with shortly. (this is what I get for being good at comics but bad at internets)

So I know what you're thinking.
Hey Josh! It's been over a month since you last updated Edwitch! What's the story? Do you hate comics? Do you hate me?!
To which I say nay! I do not hate comics (or you)! You should well know that I love comics (and possibly you) with a burning fiery passion that keeps me up at night, covered in sweat and tears! The only reason I have not had a chance to post Edwitch this last little while is because I've been occupied working on other comics for other things. Mostly, this has involved my application for The Center for Cartoon Studies. I made a forty-something page journal comic about my experience visiting the school and trying to decide whether I want to go there and what I want to do with my life in general, which you can read here, here, here and here. You can also read my twenty-something page application comic for the school here.
In addition, I've been forgetting to mention that I've also recently contributed work to Young American Comics' small town/BIG CITY anthology, as well as the super cool Kids Book Project, the proceeds for which go towards the Make a Wish Foundation.
All that being said, does this mean Edwitch is going to just be allowed to fall to the side? NO! The story is still only a third of the way done! The truth is, I've been itching terribly to get back to work on Edwitch lately. The way things are looking now, however, I think I'm going to extend the hiatus out through February, then begin updating again in March. This way I'll have time to both finish the last of my school applications as well as work up a bit of a buffer, so that when March comes around we'll finally be able to return to updating regularly again!
So yes, there's going to be a bit more of a wait. But there's a light at the end of the tunnel, and honestly I cannot wait to show you what waits in store for Ed and the gang as we get back into Book III!
- Josh

I hate the fact that I've had to disappear a bit these past couple of weeks. The new page will be up late tomorrow night, and it is possibly the best single page of the comic I've managed to produce thus far.

| New Comic, Next Week |
[24 Nov 2007|01:59am] |

There unfortunately won't be a new comic this week 'cause I am too busy writing essays, ect. But if you feel like checking the website anyway, the new voting incentive is Hobo Comix #11, which elaborates somewhat on why it is that I wasn't able to finish this week's comic.
